Dry Canyon

I went on a hike today with Diane. I had been dying to climb a snow-capped mountain for a while, but never got around to it until today. The weather was good, not too cold; but it was fairly cloudy and the sun didn't come out until well after we came back. Hiking in snow is very strenuous! It was already a strenuous trail, but this was very difficult. In fact, we didn't end up achieving our goal, turning around once we reached a clearing with a good view instead. Still, overall a good trip. There were a few guys up there doing some backcountry skiing, which looked pretty fun.
