Liz & Greg's Wedding: After the Ceremony

After the ceremony there was the traditional walk to the limo. People blew bubbles at Liz and Greg, trying to stain their clothing for the remainder of their photos. Then it was off to the reception, a rockin' good time. Once the dancing started it was way too dark to take pictures worth a damn. It was so nice to see all my old Athens buddies, some of whom I'll see again real soon :D, some of whom I won't :(. After the reception we went en masse again to the hotel bar for more drinks and general good times.

These are pictures of preparations and the taking of many professional wedding photos during the hours leading up to the ceremony.

Liz & Greg's Wedding: Rehearsal & Rehearsal Dinner

Friday evening was the rehearsal at the church, followed by the rehearsal dinner, followed by drinks at the hotel bar.

Liz & Greg's Wedding: Bachelor Party

The festivities started Thursday evening with a delicious dinner at a really nice restaurant. It was just the men, including Brandy (who is not a man). From there we walked around the corner to a cigar and martini bar, perhaps the coolest bar I've ever been to. It was dark, as you can see from the picture. There was live jazz being played in the central area off of which several separate rooms were branched. We had our own room for the most part. There were big comfortable couches everywhere and we sat smoking cigars (etc.), drinking martinis and other fun things, writing haikus, and playing a snowman game. I drank chai martinis all night. This is a picture of Greg and his father (again, it was really dark!).

Pride Parade in Salt Lake City

I marched in the Pride Parade in Salt Lake City yesterday as a member of Allies on Campus. It was quite an experience. I was disappointed that there weren't more protesters to snicker at. The festival after the parade was pretty cool. It was pleasantly surprisingly well attended, as maybe you can see from one of the pictures.
